To maintain a Postishe Hair curly wig, it is crucial to follow specific steps:

STEP 1: DETANGLING

To gently detangle your wig, start by lightly dampening the strands. Then use a soft-bristled brush or a wide-toothed comb. Start detangling from the ends, gradually moving up towards the roots to avoid pulling on the hair fibers.

STEP 2: WASHING

Before wearing your wig for the first time, it is important to wash it. We receive the wigs from our workshops, they are carefully and subject to strict quality control. Wash it using OLAPLEX Nº.3 Hair Perfector shampoo, followed by a conditioner and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Then apply a deep mask to leave on overnight. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let air dry.

STEP 3: DRYING

We recommend letting your wig air dry to preserve the natural texture of curly hair. Note that proper drying can take between 2 and 3 days. If using a hairdryer, keep it about 15cm from the strands and always apply a heat-protecting serum to create a protective barrier against heat.

STEP 4: STYLING

To style your wig, divide the hair into several sections and dampen them lightly. Since this is curly human hair, the moisture will help define the curls. Apply OLAPLEX Nº.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum to all strands, then finish styling with OLAPLEX Nº.7 Bonding Oil for a shiny, silky finish.

STEP 5: PROTECTION

Avoid sleeping with your wig on to prevent any pulling on your natural hair. Store the wig in a satin cap to maintain moisture in the curls. It is also crucial to store it in a dry place to prolong its lifespan.
